Emergency Room RN — Freestanding Emergency Department | Pasadena, TX

13-Week Travel Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

This freestanding emergency department in the Pasadena, TX area delivers full-scope emergency care across a fast-paced, community-focused setting. The unit manages a broad range of acute presentations and is looking for an experienced ER RN who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekends as needed (every other or as mutually agreed); no on-call required

Clinical Scope

• Acute emergency presentations across all age groups
• Common procedures: IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedation, and splinting
• High-acuity patients requiring cardiac monitoring and ventilatory support

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS
• TNCC
• NIHSS
• CPI

Preferred Certifications

• ENPC
• NRP

Float

• May float to a nearby freestanding ED location as needed

Dress Code

• Royal blue scrubs, closed-toed shoes (no open-hole clogs)
• No artificial nails, wireless earbuds, or smart glasses
• Stethoscope required

Ideal Candidate

A team-oriented clinician with strong emergency nursing skills and a genuine focus on patient experience. Candidates without the required certifications will not be considered.
