Labor & Delivery Nurse
Location: Asheville, NC
Contract Duration: 112 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
About the Unit
Clinical Scope
- Vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- D&C and cerclage procedures
- High-risk obstetric cases
- Immediate newborn care and stabilization
- Electronic fetal monitoring and maternal assessment
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- High-risk obstetric experience required
- Current NRP certification
- BLS/ALS certification
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Circulating experience in the OR
Floating
You may float to MFMU (Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit), MOMB (Mother/Baby), or NICU as needed.
Scheduling
- Days only (no rotating shifts, nights, or weekends required)
- Scrubs provided
