Registered Respiratory Therapist – 13-Week Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels, including neonatal intensive care.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (day or night, rotating)
• Rotating call and weekend responsibilities
• 13-week contract
• Start date: October 13, 2026
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
• NBRC RRT certification (required; CRT not considered)
• Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• Advanced critical care and ventilator management skills
• Demonstrated experience with neonatal and pediatric patients, including Level 2 NICU care
• Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (all required)
• Current flu vaccine required (no exemptions; must be obtained by November 1, 2026)

Additional Information

• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility (radius rule applies)
• Colorado CAPS registration may be required; allow up to two weeks for processing
• This is an experienced traveler assignment; first-time travelers are not considered
• Newly remodeled furnished housing is available near the facility
