Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This is a day shift role in an acute care setting.

Schedule & Hours

• 4x10-hour days (variable start times: 06:00 or 07:30)
• Weekend on-call required
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Free parking

Clinical Scope

You'll manage a daily caseload of 5–12 patients, primarily performing basic nuclear medicine studies with high volume from stress testing.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience (first-timers accepted)
• Current California State License
• ARRT and NMTCB certifications
• BLS certification
• 2 professional references covering the past 3 years

Key Details

• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during your application; post-offer requests cannot be accommodated
• You must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• You may be asked to float to nearby sister facilities; refusal may result in loss of guaranteed hours or assignment termination
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Local candidates within 50 miles are welcome at the same rate
