LTAC Medical/Telemetry & PCU — Travel RN | Night Shift | South Carolina

This 13-week travel nursing assignment is based in Travelers Rest, SC, on a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Medical/Telemetry unit serving an adult and geriatric population. The unit provides comprehensive interdisciplinary care with support from physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, phlebotomy, social services, and unit secretarial staff.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12 or 4x12)
• Weekend coverage required; every other weekend, though scheduling may vary
• Floating to other qualified units may be required based on census needs

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active South Carolina RN license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in LTAC MS/Tele, MS, and/or PCU
• First-time travelers with strong relevant experience will be considered

Clinical Scope & Skills

• Cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Ventilator management and weaning, tracheostomy care, suctioning
• Central line and PICC line management, arterial line monitoring
• Anticoagulation therapy, IV vasopressors, insulin drip titration
• Complex wound care, tube feedings, ostomy care
• Stroke scale assessment, management of CVA, TBI, spinal cord injury
• Chronic/acute renal failure, CHF, pulmonary embolism, GI bleed
• Blood product administration, procedural sedation monitoring

Additional Details

• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Pre-assignment modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials (up to 16 billable hours)
• Orientation held every Monday
