Registered Nurse – Med/Surg – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a med/surg unit. This is a 56-week contract with guaranteed hours.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in med/surg or related specialty
- Current California RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (in hand at time of submission)
- Available to float to other units (DOU, Tele, med/surg) with appropriate orientation
Shift Details
- Three 12-hour night shifts per week
- 56-week contract duration
- Start date: November 2, 2026
Charting & Onboarding
- Charting system: Paragon (training provided)
- You will be required to complete Assaultive Behavior and Fire Card courses within 30 days of your start date as part of facility onboarding
Important Notes
- Documentation must be submitted 2 Mondays prior to your start date
- Travel time off requests must be approved before your offer; requests submitted after offer approval will not be considered
- Background check required; DUI hits will disqualify candidates
This role offers a stable night schedule with the flexibility to support different units as needed.
