Labor & Delivery RN — Night Shift | Stockbridge, GA
Contract: 20 weeks | Shift: Nights, 3×12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Start Date: October 26, 2026
This Labor & Delivery unit provides care for adult obstetric patients in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment with access to IV therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, pharmacy, social services, rapid response, and interpretation services.
Schedule & Coverage
- Every other weekend required
- One 12-hour on-call shift per schedule
- Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
- Holiday coverage expected (see policy below)
Holiday Policy
If 1–2 major holidays fall within your assignment period, you are expected to work them. If 3 fall within your assignment, you are expected to work two.
Required Certifications
- BLS, ACLS, NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Required Skills
- Labor & Delivery clinical experience
- Ability to circulate for cesarean sections
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years of nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- Active Georgia RN or Compact license required at time of submission
- All RTO must be finalized at time of submission — no post-offer or on-site schedule requests accepted; no RTO during orientation week
- Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
Compliance
- Core onboarding items must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- All compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start date
- Full compliance required to begin on time; late submissions may result in a two-week start delay
