CVOR RN — Travel Contract | Columbia, SC

This CVOR RN position requires demonstrated experience in open heart and vascular surgery. The role includes on-call responsibilities; specifics will be reviewed during the phone interview process.

Schedule & Coverage

• On-call required (details discussed at interview)
• Weekend coverage required: every 4th weekend
• 30-hour orientation

Patient Population

The surgical suite serves adult and geriatric patients. Travelers may be asked to float to other units and/or campuses within the health system based on census needs; floats will only occur to units matching the traveler's demonstrated competencies.

Requirements

• Active RN compact/multistate license or state license for South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience, including open heart and vascular cases
• ACLS and BLS (required)
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• Electronic health record proficiency: minimum 1 year of recent experience (required)

Vaccinations

• COVID-19 vaccine: not required
• Flu vaccine: required; no exemptions accepted

Pre-Assignment

Completion of required modules and pre-assignment testing must occur within 48 hours of receiving login credentials. Up to 16 hours of module time is reimbursable and will be verified at contract start.

Distance Requirement

Travelers must reside a minimum of 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full rate. Candidates between 90–99.9 miles may be considered with a rate adjustment. Local candidates (within 60 miles) are not eligible for this specialty.
