Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract

Napa, CA | 13-Week Contract | Mid/Variable Shift

This is an opportunity to join a busy Emergency Department serving a broad patient population including neonates, infants, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The unit operates with strong interdisciplinary support from respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, physical therapy, phlebotomy, and interpretation services.

Shift Details

• 3x12-hour shifts, variable start times (10:00, 11:00, or 12:00 start; some shifts may begin at 15:00 or 19:00)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Contract start: November 2026

Required Certifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC

Required Skills

• ICP monitoring, competency

Experience & Licensing

• Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience
• First-time travelers welcome
• Valid compact or state license required and must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted
• Local candidates accepted

Scheduling & Compliance

• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Travelers may be expected to float to nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may impact assignment status and guaranteed hours
