Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
Join the IMCU nursing team on nights. This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to provide skilled care to high-acuity patients in a collaborative critical care environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- Start: November 2, 2026
Clinical Focus
The IMCU manages patients with serious medical conditions including sepsis, acute heart failure, hypertensive crisis, respiratory failure, COPD exacerbations, chronic kidney disease, encephalopathy, and substance use disorders. You'll administer medications including heparin drips and provide close monitoring and skilled nursing interventions for this patient population.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- RN license (active in Georgia)
