RN – Operating Room, Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced OR nurse for night shift operations. You'll support surgical cases in a high-acuity setting serving a diverse patient population with complex procedures.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Pattern: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• On-call: Yes
• Weekends & Holidays: Required
• No block scheduling

Key Requirements

• Current RN license and previous travel nursing experience
• Level 1 trauma center OR experience
• High proficiency rating on skills checklist, including neuro and vascular cases
• Competency with Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard applications
• Personal device to access required apps

Contract Details

• Duration: 89 weeks (13-week initial contract)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Start Date: November 2, 2026

What You'll Do

You'll support surgical teams in the OR, managing high-acuity trauma and specialty cases with emphasis on neurological and vascular procedures. Night shifts bring a smaller team dynamic — you'll need independence, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to troubleshoot quickly.

Must-Have

Previous travel experience and demonstrated competency in a Level 1 trauma OR environment are essential for this role.
