Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3×12s, 36 hrs/week
Contract: 13 weeks | Start: November 9
Scrubs: Navy Blue
About the Unit
This Med/Surg unit specializes in general medical-surgical care with a focus on renal, transplant, and urology patient populations. Travelers must be comfortable managing moderate-to-high acuity cases across these subspecialties. You will be required to float across multiple campuses as needed.
Schedule Details
- Every 3rd weekend required
- Holiday rotation required; must be available to work 1–2 winter holidays, including Thanksgiving
Requirements
- Minimum 24 months of Med/Surg experience in a hospital or medical center setting
- Strong renal and urology experience (required); transplant care proficiency (required)
- At least one completed travel contract within the previous 15 months
- Level II trauma experience (required); Level I trauma experience (highly preferred)
- Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission
- AHA or ARC BLS certification
- Driver's license required
