Shift: 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM, Thursday–Saturday
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced CT Tech to join the imaging department. You'll prepare patients for CT exams, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort throughout the scan. You'll operate CT scanners, adjust technical parameters for optimal image quality, and administer contrast dye intravenously or orally as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients, obtain medical histories, and monitor them during imaging procedures
- Set up and operate CT equipment with attention to precise technical parameters
- Administer IV and oral contrast safely and effectively
- Follow strict radiation safety protocols and use appropriate shielding
- Collaborate with radiologists to confirm image quality
- Assist with emergency situations, including trauma cases
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience
- ARRT certification (required; documentation needed)
Schedule & Details
- Nights: Thursday–Saturday, 7:00 PM–8:00 AM
- No on-call requirements
- Weekend work expected as part of regular shift
