Registered Respiratory Therapist — Travel Contract

Windsor, VT | Nights | 13-Week Contract

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)

Start Date: November 9, 2026

About the Role

This position is open to Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) only — CRTs will not be considered. The facility serves a pediatric through geriatric patient population, and the RT team functions independently across various care areas managing a range of acuity levels.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Invasive and non-invasive ventilation management
• Airway management, including assisting with intubations
• Arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpretation
• High-flow oxygen therapy and various PAP modalities
• Pulmonary function testing (preferred)
• Willingness to develop skills in home sleep testing and pulmonary rehabilitation

Requirements

• Active RRT credential (NBRC required)
• Minimum 2 years of current Registered Respiratory Therapy experience
• Vermont RRT license (must be submitted with profile)
• Active AHA BLS certification
• At least 6 months of prior travel experience (highly preferred)
• Personal vehicle required

Scheduling Notes

• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as needed
• Candidates must be available for at least two of the following holiday blocks: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• All time-off requests (maximum 5 days) must be submitted at the time of profile upload — no exceptions
• No block scheduling or accommodation requests accepted

Additional Details

• Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable)
• Dress code: Business casual or personal scrubs, any color
• Guaranteed hours: 36/week
