Emergency Room RN — Night Shift | Live Oak, TX

Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

Unit Overview

This busy Emergency Room manages a high-acuity, diverse patient population with a strong focus on time-sensitive conditions. Nurses on this unit participate in conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis management, stroke care including TPA administration, and chest pain/heart alert protocols.

Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call requirements apply
• Float as needed per facility policy

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active Texas RN license *(temporary licenses not accepted)*
• PALS or ENPC
• ACLS
• BLS
• TNCC
• NIHSS

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• CEN certification
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Dress Code

• Navy scrubs; undershirts and jackets in white, navy, or black only
• No acrylic nails; clean, no chipped polish; length no longer than one inch
• Hair off shoulders, natural color
• Body art covered when possible; visible piercings limited to ears only
