Orthopedic RN — Night Shift | Asheville, NC

This 13-week travel contract places you on a dedicated orthopedic unit in Asheville, NC. The unit operates as a busy, fast-paced floor with a strong team-oriented culture, caring for post-surgical and orthopedic patients across individual private rooms.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 18:45–07:15
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Must start before 2/9/2026

Clinical Scope

Nurses on this unit manage a moderate-to-high patient volume in orthopedic post-operative and medical-surgical care. Common procedures include:

• Dressing changes and suture/staple removal
• Foley catheter insertion and management
• NG tube placement
• Wound VAC maintenance and removal

Float Requirements

Floating to other Med-Surg units may be required.

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior hospital experience
• Orthopedic nursing experience
