ICU Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Sonora, CA | 13-Week Contract
A hospital in the Sonora, CA area is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract beginning November 2, 2026.
Shift & Hours
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36–48 hours per week guaranteed
Unit Overview
The ICU team delivers high-acuity nursing care across a complex patient population. Nurses are expected to utilize critical thinking and independent judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Responsibilities include coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, providing patient and family education, and participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. The role also involves appropriate delegation and supervision of nursing staff.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
- BLS (AHA) — Required
- ACLS (AHA or ARC) — Required
- PALS (AHA or ARC) — Required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
