Registered Nurse – Acute Care
Location: Tulare, CA
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day shift, 36 guaranteed hours per week
About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated patient care and provide nursing leadership on the acute care unit. You'll supervise and direct assigned nursing staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and apply critical thinking to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient data and develop individualized care plans based on established nursing standards
- Implement interventions and evaluate progress toward patient goals
- Supervise and delegate nursing team activities while coordinating care delivery
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing environment
- Participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- BLS certification from an approved vendor (required)
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification (required)
