Oncology Infusion Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion Nurse for a day shift position in Chico, CA. This is a 13-week contract with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Shift Details
- Day shift: 10 hours
- Start time: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (typical infusion clinic hours)
Required Qualifications
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Active chemotherapy certification with recent chemotherapy administration experience
- Minimum four years of acute nursing experience in an oncology setting
- Recent infusion clinic experience
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
Position Responsibilities
You will administer chemotherapy and supportive infusions, monitor patients for reactions and side effects, maintain IV lines, document patient responses, and collaborate with the oncology care team. You'll work in a specialized infusion setting serving cancer patients across various treatment protocols.
Additional Information
- Float assignments may be required to other units as needed
- Must be a W-2 employee of your staffing agency
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
