Med/Surg Travel RN — Salem, VA

Day Shift | 13-Week Contract

This Med/Surg unit focuses on post-operative patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Nurses here manage a diverse surgical population with an emphasis on quality patient experience and advocacy.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

Clinical Scope

• Post-operative patient care and monitoring
• Wound care and dressing changes
• Drain placement and maintenance
• IV therapy management

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with post-operative patient populations
• Proficiency in wound care, dressing changes, and drain management
