Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist
Position Overview
The facility's Radiology/Ultrasound department is seeking an experienced Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract. You'll perform general, OB, and vascular ultrasound studies in a busy imaging environment serving both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- On-Call/Weekend Rotation: Required; flexible coverage of open shifts and weekends
Core Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in general, obstetric, and vascular specialties
- Prepare patients and operate ultrasound equipment
- Document findings accurately and communicate with radiologists
- Float to outpatient imaging centers on campus as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based sonography experience
- ARDMS Certification (required)
- BLS Certification (required)
- Proficiency with general, OB, and vascular ultrasound protocols
