Cardiac Telemetry / PCU Travel RN — Night Shift

Greensboro, NC | 13-Week Contract | Nights

This cardiac progressive care unit manages adult and geriatric patients with moderate-to-high acuity cardiovascular and respiratory diagnoses. The primary focus is cardiac care — including Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, NSTEMI, and arrhythmia management — with a secondary focus on respiratory conditions such as COPD and ia.

Shift & Schedule

• 3×12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required; holidays as needed
• Float to other campus locations required as needed

Clinical Skills Required

• Cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Titration of cardiac and insulin drips
• BiPAP/CPAP and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management
• Central line care, CVP monitoring
• Pre/post cardiac cath care
• Pre/post hemodialysis management
• IV insulin protocols, blood product administration
• Arterial blood gas interpretation
• TR Band management
• Feeding tube care, isolation precautions/PPE

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; first-time travelers welcome
• Active RN license required at time of submission
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• No local candidates within 50 miles
• RTO must be submitted with the application
• Third-party education verification required
• Background check must reflect no open cases

Vaccines: COVID-19 and flu vaccines required; medical/religious exemptions considered.
