Night Shift RN – Acute Care of Elderly & Alternate Level of Care Unit
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an RN for a 16-week night shift assignment on an acute care unit. You'll work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with 36 or 48 hours per week available. Weekend commitment is one shift per week or two shifts every other weekend. You must work at least one holiday during your contract.
Unit & Clinical Scope
This unit specializes in acute care of elderly patients and alternate level of care. You'll provide direct patient care, manage medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and comfort.
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years acute hospital experience
- At least 1 recent year in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
- 2 years of U.S. work history (required for international candidates)
- Ability to work flexibly according to facility needs
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Additional Details
Charge position responsibility may be requested but is not required. Block booking may be available but is not guaranteed. Flexibility with scheduling is essential.
