Med/Surg Telemetry – Complex Care | Night Shift | Rochester, NY

This 16-week contract places you in a complex care Medical/Telemetry unit managing a diverse patient population with moderate-to-high acuity. The unit handles telemetry monitoring alongside general medical-surgical care, requiring strong assessment skills and comfort with cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Shift & Hours

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (rotating 7P-7A / 7A-7P)
• 36 or 48 hours available per week
• One weekend shift per week, or two shifts every other weekend
• At least one holiday shift required per contract

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience
• At least 1 recent year in med-surg or telemetry
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history

Licenses & Certifications

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification

Additional Details

• Charge nurse experience preferred; training available for qualified candidates
• Required to float to other units based on facility need
• Scheduling flexibility required; block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Start date: November 16, 2026
