Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its medical-surgical unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- AM shift
Clinical Scope
This role requires proficiency with:
- Telemetry monitoring
- IV insertion and management
- PICC line placement
- Lumbar punctures
- Conscious sedation monitoring
You'll manage patient assessments, medication administration, wound care, and coordination with the interdisciplinary care team.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Compact accepted)
- Minimum 1 year 6 months of nursing experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Familiarity with electronic health records
