Labor & Delivery RN — All-In-One LD Unit | Keene, NH
This 13-week travel assignment places you in a comprehensive, midwife-led Labor & Delivery unit where you'll rotate through all aspects of care within a single unit. The philosophy emphasizes low-intervention, patient-centered birth experiences supported by a full range of medical resources when needed.
Unit Scope
You will be expected to competently practice across all LD specialties, including:
- Active labor and delivery
- Mother/baby and postpartum care
- Newborn nursery
- Newborn resuscitation
Shift Details
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 36 hours/week (three 12-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation required (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's windows)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Postpartum and mother/baby experience
- Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact (must be uploaded with profile)
- Active AHA BLS (required)
- Active NRP certification (required)
- AWHONN certification within the past 3 years (preferred)
- Personal vehicle required
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
Important Scheduling Notes
- Block scheduling is not available for this assignment
- All RTO requests (maximum 5 days) must be submitted at the time of application; requests made after submission will not be approved
