Interventional Radiology Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) nurse for its inpatient IR department. You'll support a wide range of minimally invasive procedures while providing compassionate care to patients undergoing procedural sedation and recovery.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 6:30 or 7:30 a.m. start times
- 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
- 13-week contract
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Float requirements to other radiology nursing areas as needed
Clinical Scope
You'll work in a fast-paced interventional radiology environment, assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, monitoring patients under procedural sedation, and supporting post-procedure recovery and discharge.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology nursing experience
- Current California Board of Registered Nursing licensure
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Demonstrated experience with procedural sedation and patient recovery
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records
