Nursing Position – Medical-Surgical Unit
Position Details
- Location: Wichita, KS
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, four 12-hour days per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend; no call required
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
- Start Date: November 1, 2026
About the Role
Join the medical-surgical nursing team at the facility. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment, managing post-operative and acute medical patients. Be prepared to float to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification required)
- BLS certification
- Competency with electronic health records
Onboarding & Credentials
Standard onboarding includes skills validation, EHR training, and required health screenings (vaccinations, TB testing, background check, drug screening). Details will be provided upon offer.
