Registered Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position. You'll work 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00) and may float to various affiliated facilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
- Active Ohio RRT license (required at time of submission)
- Active NBRC certification (required at time of submission)
- Active BLS certification (required at time of submission)
- Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in respiratory care within the past 12 months
Schedule & Expectations
- Night shift: 3x12-hour (18:30–07:00)
- Weekends as needed
- May float to multiple facilities
- 13-week contract
- All time-off requests and scheduling needs must be communicated at submission and discussed during your interview
Requirements & Compliance
- Smoke-free/nicotine-free facility — no exceptions
- Negative 10-panel drug screen + nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start
- Background check (BCI/FBI prints) must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- No license hits permitted
- Annual competency modules required for continuous contracts
Extensions
Candidates may extend up to 18 months; a 6-month break is required thereafter (may be waived by facility approval on a case-by-case basis).
