Emergency Room RN — Denton, TX | 13-Week Contract

A busy Emergency Department in Denton, TX is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week travel assignment. This is a fast-paced ED environment managing a broad range of acute and emergent patient presentations across all acuity levels.

Shift Details

• Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call: Required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Prior HCA facility experience required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• BLS, ACLS required
• PALS or ENPC required
• TNCC required

Unit Details

• Setting: High-volume Emergency Department
• Patient Population: Mixed acuity, including trauma, stroke, and chest pain presentations
• Float Policy: As needed

Dress Code

• Scrubs: Royal Blue
• No artificial, gel, or next-gen nails
• Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Visible piercings limited to ears only; additional piercings must be removed
• Tattoos should be covered whenever feasible

This assignment is well-suited for experienced ED nurses comfortable working independently in a high-acuity environment with strong trauma and stroke protocols.
