Telemetry RN | Nights | Bowling Green, KY | 13-Week Contract

This night-shift telemetry position is based in a busy cardiac unit in Bowling Green, KY. The unit provides continuous cardiac monitoring and manages a diverse patient population including cath recovery patients and those requiring close rhythm surveillance.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Clinical Scope

The unit handles moderate-to-high acuity cardiac patients, with procedures including chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis. Nurses must be comfortable with cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management.

Float Requirements

Agency staff float first and may be assigned to Ortho/Med-Surg as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum telemetry experience required
• Knowledge of chest tubes and dysrhythmia management
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale

Support Staff

Patient care technicians are available on both day and night shifts. Unit clerks support the day shift.

Dress Code

Any scrubs except camouflage.
