PACU Nurse – 10-Hour Day Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a compassionate PACU nurse to join a dynamic perioperative team. You'll provide comprehensive care to post-anesthesia recovery patients, pre-operative patients, and support the GI lab, managing patients transitioning from surgery through recovery.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 × 10-hour days (day shift)
• Every other weekend required
• 2 out of 3 major holidays required
• On-call duties as needed
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

Clinical Environment

• Post-operative and pre-operative patient care
• ICU-level acuity patients recovering in PACU
• GI lab support
• 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy support
• Telemetry monitoring available

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (CA)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong assessment and post-operative care skills

Additional Details

• Navy scrubs
• Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment per cancellation policy
