Labor & Delivery Nurse – Night Shift
Richmond, Virginia | 13-Week Contract
About the Role
Join a patient-centered labor and delivery unit dedicated to maternal health and excellence in perinatal care. You'll work the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) as part of a skilled team providing comprehensive care across labor, delivery, recovery, , and antepartum services.
Clinical Scope
Staffing & Support
Night shift includes one charge nurse and 6–7 RNs plus surgical tech coverage. On-site 24/7 hospitalist, midwife, anesthesia, and neonatologist support ensure comprehensive care coordination.
Requirements
- Current L&D experience (within the previous 2 years)
- Current Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
- Current NRP and BLS certifications
- Proficiency with modern labor and delivery equipment and clinical systems
Preferred
Experience in high-volume obstetric settings (3,000+ births annually) is valued.

- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs, closed-toe shoes; tattoos and piercings covered
