Emergency Room RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for night shift coverage. This is a 13-week contract role at a Critical Access Hospital serving a rural community.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week + 2 on-call shifts
- Holidays and on-call coverage required
- All time-off requests must be discussed during the interview process
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge in the Emergency Department, utilizing:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
- Certified Emergency Nursing (CEN)
You'll implement clinical pathways to achieve optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ATLS certifications required
- CEN preferred
- Critical Access Hospital experience strongly preferred
