Assignment Details

• Shift: 4x10-hour days, 6:30 AM start
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Call Requirements: Weekday call 2–3 days per 6-week cycle; weekend call 1–2 twelve-hour shifts per 6-week cycle
• Holiday RTO will not be approved during the contract period

Role Overview

You'll deliver coordinated perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment, applying the full nursing process from preoperative assessment through postoperative handoff. Responsibilities include:

• Collecting and analyzing patient data to guide care planning
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans
• Collaborating with surgical teams, patients, and families
• Supervising and directing assigned nursing staff
• Contributing to discharge planning and continuity of care

Requirements

• Active RN license (California or multi-state compact)
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience
• Current BLS certification
• BSN preferred
• Proficiency with electronic health records required
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Compliance with facility vaccination policies required
