Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist – Cath Lab
Position Overview
The facility's Cath Lab is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join a dynamic team performing high-volume interventional procedures. You'll work in a fast-paced environment managing both cardiac and peripheral cases with strong clinical support.
Shift & Schedule
- 10-hour days, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- On-call requirement: Approximately 12 days per month (including at least one weekend), with a 30-minute response time
- Contract duration: 15 weeks
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Current RCIS certification and BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of direct Cath Lab experience
- Demonstrated scrub experience with PCI and STEMI cases
- Ability to scrub both cardiac and peripheral procedures
- Two supervisory references (one within 12 months, one within 3 years of employment)
Clinical Scope
You'll assist with approximately 8 cases per day across two Cath Lab suites, including:
- All cardiac invasive procedures (excluding structural heart)
- Peripheral interventions: carotid access, A/V grafts, EVAR, peripheral diagnostics and intervention
Facility Details
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- Floor-specific orientation (typically 1–2 shifts based on experience)
- IV Team, 24/7 Pharmacy, and Respiratory Therapy support available
- Cancellation policy: Up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment may be cancelled
