ICU Registered Nurse – Travel Contract | Concord, NH

Shift: 12-hour Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (4 shifts/week)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: ASAP

Guaranteed Hours: 48/week

About the Role

This ICU position serves a high-acuity patient population requiring advanced cardiovascular and critical care management. Candidates with CVICU experience are strongly encouraged to apply and should highlight that background prominently.

Clinical Scope & Equipment

The unit manages complex critical care cases utilizing balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, targeted temperature management (Arctic Sun/TTM), rapid infusers, and IV pump management.

Float Requirements

Nurses in this role may float to the ED (full ED patients, not ICU holds only), step-down, and med-surg units with modified assignment. Floating to a Behavioral Health unit is also possible — candidates must be comfortable with this. Float assignments may extend to two nearby affiliate campuses in the Laconia and Franklin, NH areas.

Requirements

  • Active NH or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
  • 2–3 years of ICU experience (candidates with closer to 2 years must demonstrate strong independent practice and a broad clinical background)
  • CVICU experience highly preferred
  • Local candidates (within 50 miles) accepted
  • First-time travelers will not be considered

Certifications & Credentials

  • BLS and ACLS required
  • RN Skills Checklist matching ICU specialty required at submission
  • Requested time off must be submitted at time of application
