CT Tech

CT / X-Ray Technologist | Mid Shift | Oakland, CA

Contract: 56 weeks | Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (15:30–00:00) | Start: November 2026

This is a special procedures-focused role for an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist with strong skills in endovascular and orthopedic imaging. The facility serves adult and geriatric patient populations with a clinical emphasis on endovascular interventions and the full spectrum of orthopedic procedures, including ortho-spine, ortho-sports medicine, and ortho-joint cases.

Shift & Scheduling

• Mid shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, 5x8-hour days
• 2 out of every 4 weekends required
• Call accepted if offered; no mandatory holidays
• Floating to other campuses or units within scope of practice is required

Required Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT (Radiography & CT)
• Fluoroscopy permit
• BLS
• Valid California license required at time of submission

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in endovascular procedures and all orthopedic modalities using C-Arm
• Well-rounded skills across additional service lines preferred

Preferred Background

• Teaching hospital experience
• Community hospital experience
• Trauma experience (Level I or II)
• Ortho-spine, ortho-sports medicine, or ortho-joint subspecialty exposure
• 5+ years of experience strongly preferred

Additional Requirements

• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Two supervisor references preferred
• Candidates who are permanent employees of this facility must have a minimum 6-month gap before assignment
