Special Procedure Technologist – Interventional Radiology
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Special Procedure Technologist to join the interventional radiology team. You will assist physicians in performing IR procedures, including vascular and coronary angiography, embolizations, and catheterizations.
Schedule & Contract
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with on-call duties
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Holiday coverage required: 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) + 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT registration (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
- Minimum 2 years recent diagnostic radiology experience
- Current BLS certification
- IR or EVOR experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Training or experience in general vascular, coronary angiography, and special procedures
- Prior catheterization lab experience
- Familiarity with clinical charting systems
What You'll Do
Position yourself as a key team member in a busy interventional radiology suite. You'll prepare patients, manage equipment, assist with sterile technique, and support physicians during time-sensitive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
