Licensed Practical Nurse

LPN – Medical/Surgical | Night Shift | Zanesville, OH

Contract: 13 weeks | Start Date: November 16, 2026 | Hours: 36/week

Shift & Schedule

Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, with every third weekend required. No on-call requirement.

Unit Overview

This LPN role is primarily based on Medical/Surgical and Observation units, with occasional floating to specialty Med-Surg areas including Surgical, Respiratory, Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, and Cardiac. You'll manage a patient load of up to 5 patients under RN oversight.

Key Requirements

• Active Ohio LPN license and BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of current, recent hospital experience (required; candidates without will not be considered)
• Demonstrated telemetry reading ability — competency is assessed on day one
• IV certification required
• Proficiency in an electronic medical records system is required; candidates must be fully independent — no refresher training or one-on-one guidance is available

• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per contract period
• All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission

This is a straightforward, high-accountability position suited for experienced LPNs who are comfortable in a fast-paced Med-Surg environment and can hit the ground running.
