Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract. You'll provide direct patient care in a busy med/surg telemetry unit with the potential to float to other clinical areas to support the same patient population. This is a rotating shift position with both day and night options.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour rotating shifts:
• Day: 07:00 – 19:30
• Night: 19:00 – 07:30
• Shifts may rotate as needed to meet operational demands; the facility will work to honor your preferred shift when possible.
• You must be available to work at least every other holiday.

Requirements

• 12 months of permanent experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing
• Current permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active certifications: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
• You will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to continue
• One professional reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from your specialty, from the past 12 months

What to Expect

You'll work in a clinical environment managing patients requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry oversight. Orientation includes competency modules and assessments to ensure readiness for independent practice.
