Registered Radiologic Technologist

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Friday–Sunday
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
The facility's Radiology Department is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to produce high-quality diagnostic images using imaging equipment, computers, and related technology. You'll apply your knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques to support patient care and departmental standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures; educate and address patient questions and concerns
- Position patients appropriately and apply proper imaging technique
- Apply radiation safety principles and devices to minimize exposure to patients and staff
- Perform quality control techniques and maintain equipment standards
- Demonstrate understanding of infection control protocols
- Train and oversee students in patient care and imaging procedures
- Communicate in an age-appropriate manner and respect individual safety and developmental needs
Required Qualifications
- ARRT(R) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Kentucky State Radiology Tech License (RAD)—can be obtained during onboarding
- Minimum 2 years of general radiology experience
Schedule Details
- Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 4 call shifts per month
- Must be available to work Christmas Day and New Year's Day
This is a hands-on role ideal for technologists seeking a weekend-based schedule with clinical variety in a busy imaging department.
