Infusion RN – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility's infusion center is seeking an experienced Infusion RN to deliver safe, compassionate IV therapies in a busy outpatient setting. You'll see approximately 15–20 patients per day, balancing direct clinical care with essential administrative coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications and therapies per established infusion standards while monitoring patient responses and comfort
• Manage scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews; communicate effectively with providers, payers, and care teams
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, assess understanding, and document teaching efforts
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in electronic health records and medication administration records per hospital policy

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved RN program
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1 year acute care experience preferred
• BSN degree required
• Current Vermont or multi-state compact RN license
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Infusion and port experience required
• CRNI certification preferred

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Orientation starts Wednesday; limited hours (36) during orientation week due to midweek start
