ICU/CCU Travel RN — Glendale, CA
13-Week Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Shift & Scheduling
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays rotated with permanent staff
- First to float between ICU, CCU, and telemetry; ER float available for those willing
Clinical Details
- Vasoactive and sedation drips: Cardizem, Diprivan, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Fentanyl, Versed
- Ventilator management required
- RNs read and interpret cardiac monitor strips independently
- Respiratory therapy and pharmacy support available 24/7
- Charge nurse on duty; no nurse aides on unit
- All independent physician model — no in-house intensivist or hospitalist
Orientation: 2–3 shifts on unit; additional orientation provided for telemetry or ER floats as needed.
Requirements
- Active RN license (California)
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and advanced EKG dysrhythmia certification
- BSN not required
Scrubs: Navy
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
Cancellation Policy: Up to 4 shifts per 13-week contract
