Emergency Department Nurse – 12-Hour Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment treating approximately 40 patients per day across a range of acute diagnoses and acuities.
Clinical Scope
Requirements & Schedule
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
- License: Current RN license required
- Shift Schedule: Every other weekend; every other holiday
- Floating: You will float within a designated 60-mile radius zone. Housing must accommodate this floating requirement.
- Orientation: One week in-state attendance required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Cancellation Policy: The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during your 13-week assignment
