Emergency Room RN – 12-Hour Nights

Position Overview

Clinical Scope

The department treats a diverse patient population including trauma, stroke, NSTEMI, ia, abdominal pain, and other acute conditions. You'll manage standard ER medications, perform point-of-care lab testing, and interpret telemetry strips independently (no dedicated monitor tech). Respiratory Therapy is available 24/7 for ABGs and breathing treatments.

Schedule & Requirements

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12 hours
• Days: Every other weekend
• Contract: 13 weeks | 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Must Float: Across all facilities within the 60-mile zone; you are responsible for securing housing that accommodates this requirement

Required Certifications & Licenses

• RN license (active in Colorado)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC

Unit Support

The charge nurse maintains an assignment and house supervisor oversight. Techs assist with unit secretary duties, floor support, and . One week of in-person orientation required before your first shift.

Cancellation Policy

The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment (3 shifts for shorter assignments).
