Pediatric Respiratory Therapist — Travel Contract

Greenville, SC | Days 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 13-Week Contract

This travel Respiratory Therapist position supports a pediatric respiratory services team covering multiple care settings, including pediatric floors, a pediatric ICU, emergency department, and NICU. Float coverage across qualified units is required based on census needs; staff are floated only to settings matching their documented competencies.

Schedule

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week (07:00–19:30)
• Every-other-weekend coverage required
• Float to other qualified units/campuses as requested

Clinical Scope

• Aerosol therapy via mask and trach collar
• Bag-mask ventilation and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC)
• Metered-dose inhalers and hand-held nebulizers
• Medications include albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, Xopenex, and Mucomyst
• Apnea monitoring and capillary blood gases
• Pediatric critical care and emergency respiratory management
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across pediatric specialties

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS, NRP, PALS
• RRT with active South Carolina license (ACLS also required)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric critical care, pediatric ED, or general pediatrics
• Electronic health records experience: minimum 1 year required
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
• Pre-assignment compliance modules required within 48 hours of login; up to 16 hours are reimbursable
