Medical Step-Down Unit – RN
Position Overview
Join the medical step-down unit for a 14-week assignment. You'll care for patients transitioning from intensive care, managing complex acute and chronic conditions in a structured, supportive environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 4 x 12-hour shifts per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 weekly
- Contract Duration: 14 weeks
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
Clinical Scope
Float Requirements
You may float to intermediate care units as needed, with assignments to specific units most common.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Holiday Coverage
Travelers must work either Thanksgiving Day or the day after, plus either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day OR New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
