Emergency Department RN — Utica, NY

13-Week Contract | Days | 4×12 (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

This high-acuity Emergency Department serves a diverse patient population spanning newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The unit manages a broad clinical spectrum, including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and behavioral health presentations. SANE care is also an expected component of practice.

Unit Details

• Full-scope ED with acute, super track, CDU, trauma, and psychiatric care areas
• Floating within the department is required
• Charge nurse capability is highly preferred
• Scrub color: Navy Blue

Schedule

• Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 48 guaranteed hours weekly
• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed

Required Certifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS (all AHA)
• NIHSS
• TNCC — must be in hand at time of submission

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience with some pediatric exposure
• Prior travel nursing experience is required
• Active NY RN license
• Skills checklist matching ED specialty

This is a long-term engagement well-suited for an experienced ED traveler comfortable with a fast-paced, all-ages environment and the full continuum of emergency care.
