Operating Room Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an Operating Room Nurse for a 13-week assignment on the day shift. This is a fast-paced surgical environment where you'll support a variety of procedures and contribute to a collaborative OR team.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 × 10-hour day shifts per week (40 hours/week)
• Call rotation: 2 weekend shifts and 2 weekday shifts per 4-week cycle
• Start Date: November 16, 2026

Requirements

• License: Georgia or compact license (must be current and in hand)
• Experience: Minimum 18 months of OR nursing experience within the past 3 years
• Travel Radius: 50 miles from Tucker, GA
• Guaranteed hours throughout the contract period

What to Expect

You'll work alongside experienced OR staff in a busy surgical setting, handling instrument passes, sponge counts, specimen management, and patient care during procedures. You'll be expected to maintain strong communication, attention to detail, and flexibility as cases flow through the OR schedule.
